Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Scientist to set the scientific direction and advance methods for intelligent systems in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the scientific roadmap for core AI capabilities, establishing hypotheses, milestones, and success metrics
• Design evaluation and benchmarking for models, ensuring scientific rigor across teams
• Lead applied research projects from inception to productization while mentoring team members

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in AI/ML research or applied science with experience in model training and evaluation
• Proven experience in designing and scaling ML systems and real-time applications
• Strong leadership in scientific strategy and cross-team architecture efforts
• Proficiency in Python and modern ML stacks with a deep understanding of optimization and performance
• Experience connecting ML research to physical world applications is preferred
