Principal Scientist, Oncology

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Principal Scientist, Oncology, the full-time role will lead translational research initiatives focusing on integrating single cell and spatial genomics into oncology pipelines while mentoring a team of scientists and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive discovery and translational projects by integrating scRNA-seq and spatial biology into the oncology pipeline
• Design and execute lab-based research programs that connect clinical observations with mechanistic hypotheses
• Lead and mentor a team of scientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture

Required qualifications

• Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Molecular/Cellular Biology, Immunology, Bioengineering, or a closely related field
• 6+ years of experience in oncology translational research within biotech or pharma
• Deep scientific expertise in cancer cell biology, tumor immunology, or related areas
• Hands-on experience with single cell genomics and spatial transcriptomics
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional programs and mentoring scientists
