Principal Security Architect

Job Summary

Serving as the principal security architecture authority, the full-time remote Principal Security Architect will define and govern security architecture standards for a multi-cloud SaaS platform, influence security outcomes across engineering teams, and partner with executive leadership to enhance the security posture of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and enforce security reference architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring robust security controls and practices
• Lead the security architecture review process and provide governance decisions for critical engineering initiatives
• Define and evolve the long-term security architecture strategy, translating business objectives into scalable security capabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Progressive experience in security engineering or architecture within a SaaS or cloud-native environment
• Deep expertise in multi-cloud security architecture and secure SDLC practices
• Experience assessing security risks associated with AI-enabled architectures
• Relevant certifications preferred: CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer
