Principal Security Architect

Job Summary

Serving as a hands-on Security Architect, the full-time remote Principal Security Architect will design, implement, and maintain security architectures in AWS, enforce security controls through Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, and mature foundational security operations across both legacy and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain security guardrails and architectures within AWS
• Write, review, and enforce security controls in Terraform and CI/CD pipelines for "security-as-code.
• Partner with engineering teams to establish scalable identity, access, and logging standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 7 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, including roles as a Senior/Lead Security Engineer or Security Architect
• Strong knowledge of AWS security services such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, and IAM
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code and cloud deployments
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with limited in-person interactions
