Principal Security Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a Principal Security Architect to join the Cybersecurity organization in a full-time remote or Austin-based role, responsible for establishing a mature cybersecurity architecture practice, producing holistic architectures, and bridging the gap between design and implementation to enhance the organization's technical defenses.

Key responsibilities:

• Help build and establish a mature cybersecurity architecture practice
• Produce holistic architectures and influence roadmaps to align with business objectives and proactively address the threat landscape
• Run hands-on projects while mentoring and guiding other architects and engineers

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, or security engineering
• Deep expertise across multiple security domains, including Cloud Security and Application Security
• Experience developing reference architectures and strategic roadmaps
• Strong technical background with the ability to translate architectural concepts into viable solutions
• Familiarity with industry frameworks such as SABSA, NIST, and ISO
