Principal Security Consultant

Job Summary

To support a strategic enterprise client, the full-time Principal Security Consultant will lead security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management across IT and OT environments while serving as a senior point of contact for project managers and stakeholders in a fully remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior technical expertise in security operations, detection, and incident response for both IT and OT environments
• Own and lead the client's Vulnerability Management Program, including prioritization and remediation coordination
• Facilitate cross-functional governance and security delivery meetings to ensure alignment between security operations and IT stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security operations, detection, analysis, and incident response
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in operational technology (OT) environments
• Demonstrated ownership of a security program with accountability for outcomes
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional governance and engage with executive stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
