Principal Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Security Engineer - Cyber Security Incident Response Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads strategic incident response initiatives and manages complex cyber threat investigations
• Implements operational plans to achieve strategic goals and provides thought leadership across the organization
• Mentors junior staff and coordinates cross-functional project initiatives of strategic importance

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 8 years with a Master's degree, or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in incident response, digital forensics, and malware analysis
• Proficiency with SIEM tools and experience in cloud security operations
• Strong scripting and automation skills, particularly in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and adversary tactics (MITRE ATT&CK)
