Principal Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a proactive Principal Security Engineer for a full-time remote position who will be responsible for securing cloud-native infrastructure and services across AWS, GCP, and other environments, while collaborating with engineering and product teams to implement security controls and maintain system integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain cloud security controls across AWS and GCP
• Take ownership of security projects from concept through deployment
• Continuously assess cloud environments using Cloud Security Posture Management platforms

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or related infrastructure security roles
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP security practices
• Proficiency in Terraform for building secure cloud infrastructure
• Experience with cloud-native security tools and CSPM solutions
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST or CIS
