Principal Security Engineer
Job Summary
To define and lead OpenZeppelin's Solana practice, the full-time remote Principal Security Engineer will manage the technical direction for confidential computing on Solana, focusing on porting encryption primitives, designing standards, and building developer abstractions while collaborating with clients and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Solana workstreams from architecture through deployment and post-launch hardening
- Build production-grade programs prioritizing security and manage client-facing design discussions
- Shape the technical landscape of Solana audits and contribute to open-source libraries and tooling
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building on Solana in production environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-quarter workstreams and make consequential technical decisions
- Deep fluency with the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) and its associated concepts
- Experience with Anchor and direct runtime development
- Strong security-first mindset with experience in auditing or hardening production systems
