Principal Security Engineer

Job Summary

Championing a "Secure by Design" culture, the full-time Principal Security Engineer will drive innovative software security solutions and technical strategy while collaborating across engineering and information security teams to enhance security practices and architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver innovative software solutions to address top security risks and enhance security architecture
• Define and guide the multi-year technical strategy for software security, ensuring alignment with engineering best practices
• Lead the development and implementation of high-leverage security solutions across various business units

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in developing and shipping production software, with at least 5 years focused on security practices
• Proven track record of technical leadership at a Principal or equivalent level
• Mastery of system design and architecture, with experience in solving complex security problems
• Deep understanding of security vulnerabilities and countermeasures, particularly in high-volume transaction environments
• Ability to write production-quality code/script for security automation and tooling
