Principal Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing cloud-native networking platform, the full-time remote Principal Security Engineer will shape and drive security strategy across various domains, influence secure system design, and lead complex security initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive long-term security architecture and strategy across cloud, infrastructure, application, platform, and operational security domains
• Own the bug bounty program, managing triage, severity assessment, and coordination of remediation with relevant teams
• Serve as a technical authority for Kubernetes, container, Linux, and cloud security, guiding security decisions across engineering organizations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, infrastructure security, or cloud security roles
• Deep expertise in securing large-scale cloud-native environments and distributed systems
• Advanced expertise with Kubernetes security, including workload protection and container security
• Proven experience in threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews
