Principal Security Researcher

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Security Researcher, SIEM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the value of logs and lead the processing strategy for the SIEM product
• Lead the security capabilities brought to market and ensure SIEM usability for SOC analysts and IR firms
• Own cross-department relationships critical to successful product delivery and promote security awareness through public engagement

Required Qualifications:

• Expert in various log types, especially Windows event logs
• Proven track record in building, deploying, and maturing SIEM technology
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Expert in metrics-driven tuning programs and coverage gap analysis
• Ability to translate cybersecurity trends for both technical and non-technical audiences
