Principal Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Site Reliability Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test, and distribute changes to software, services, and tools for the VHP team
• Design and implement enhancements to VHP observability infrastructure to proactively identify and resolve issues
• Develop subject matter expertise in VHP components and mentor team members

Required Qualifications

• 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Expertise in Linux internals and hardware best practices for Linux
• Advanced experience with the Linux kernel and OS optimization for KVM/QEMU virtualization
• Expertise in designing, developing, and deploying software and infrastructure at scale
• Experience with tools like SaltStack and Ansible for managing infrastructure at scale
