Principal Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Site Reliability Engineer - Public Safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own service-level objectives (SLOs), drive reliability roadmaps, and conduct capacity planning
• Build and operate production infrastructure, develop infrastructure as code, and evolve CI/CD pipelines
• Implement observability practices, support incident management, and embed security controls in the SDLC

Required Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related roles
• Strong Linux/Unix fundamentals and systems performance tuning
• Proficiency with cloud services, particularly OCI, and understanding of networking and security
• Expertise in containers, orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible
