Principal Software Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Architect, Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the end-to-end architecture for core Platform services, ensuring security and scalability
• Shape and advance the platform's marketplace and extensibility architecture, including API exposure patterns
• Lead platform-focused architecture reviews and technical governance to align with enterprise architecture

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• 14+ years of engineering experience with large-scale, distributed systems and platform architecture
• Proven leadership in architecture and cross-functional collaboration
• Recognized expertise in identity management, permissions models, and data-intensive services
• Demonstrated success in leading modernization and decomposition efforts
