Principal Software Architect

Job Summary

To support a growing platform transformation, the remote Principal Software Architect will architect, develop, and deploy scalable services while shaping application architecture and driving modular service integration.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy production-grade services across the Testlio software platform
• Define architectural standards and modularize the current codebase to improve system efficiency
• Collaborate with the Director of Engineering on frontend framework consolidation and integrate AI/LLM patterns into customer-facing surfaces

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on software development experience with cloud-native platforms
• Advanced knowledge of distributed systems, data modeling, and event-driven design
• Proven experience in migrating from monolithic architectures to modular services
• Deep familiarity with AWS and enterprise-ready infrastructure patterns
• Practical experience deploying AI/ML solutions with a focus on automation and observability
