Principal Software Architect

Job Summary

Driving the architectural strategy for innovative software solutions, the full-time remote Principal Software Architect will lead the design and implementation of cloud-native applications, guide front-end modernization, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards across the GridOS Plan product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Architect cloud-native applications and modernize the application stack using micro-services and containers
• Partner with product leadership to translate business strategies into scalable technical roadmaps
• Set enterprise architecture standards and lead architectural review processes for GridOS Plan applications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM fields with 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 5 years in architectural leadership roles
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and distributed systems
• Experience designing SaaS applications at scale and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong background in modern application architecture and secure system designs
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-organizational alignment
