Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Developer I or II to join the Elasticsearch - Storage Engine team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to develop an industry-leading Timeseries solution
• Contribute to Elasticsearch by building new features and resolving bugs while improving code clarity
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team on logs and metrics capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Experience implementing techniques for efficient indexing, storage, and querying of Timeseries data
• Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to manage projects from inception to completion
• Proficiency in core Java and familiarity with data structures and concurrency constructs
• Experience with various data storage technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, or PostgreSQL
• Ability to develop collaboratively and provide constructive feedback on code
