Principal Software Developer

Job Summary

To support the development of cloud services managing a global fleet of Kubernetes clusters, the full-time Principal Software Developer will design, implement, and operate production services while leading technical discussions and mentoring engineers in a primarily remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and operate production cloud services in a "you build it, you run it" model
• Own services end to end, including architecture, implementation, operations, and ongoing support
• Lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers through complex design and implementation work

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of software development experience with strong skills in Go, Scala, Java, or similar languages
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale
• Demonstrated ownership of production services, including reliability and incident response
• Experience with cloud-native development patterns and Kubernetes-based environments
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
