Principal Software Developer

Job Summary

Seeking a Principal Software Developer with a backend focus, the remote full-time position will design, develop, and operate backend services and platform components to enhance developer productivity and improve platform security and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and APIs for Oracle Health product teams
• Deliver features end-to-end, including requirements clarification, technical design, implementation, automated testing, deployment, and operational support
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and participate in code and design reviews to uphold engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Go, Python) and experience building REST and/or gRPC services
• Working knowledge of data stores (RDBMS and/or NoSQL) and distributed systems fundamentals
• Experience with modern engineering practices, including source control, code review, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
