Principal Software Developer

Job Summary

Leading the design and delivery of complex platform capabilities, the full-time remote Principal Software Developer will enhance platform reliability and security while mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions within an AI-first engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation for complex platform services and shared components
• Drive design reviews and ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance, and operability requirements
• Mentor engineers through design guidance, code reviews, and technical leadership

Required Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Demonstrated experience building and operating distributed services in production
• Strong system design skills, including data modeling and API design
• Ability to drive technical alignment across teams and deliver results in ambiguous problem spaces
