Principal Software Developer

Job Summary

Designing and programming innovative software solutions, the full-time Principal Software Developer will collaborate with a team to develop, test, and maintain high-quality applications while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

• Author and maintain documentation for developers, clients, and users to encourage innovation and refine prototypes
• Program and test software according to project plans, including driving release and post-release activities
• Collaborate with designers to create user interfaces and support sales and project managers with technical insights

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 7 years of progressive experience as a Software Developer or in a closely related position (5 years with a Master's)
• Experience in designing and architecting software, systematic software development approaches, and data structures
• 5 years of experience in writing and debugging code in various programming languages and software security practices
• Knowledge of computation theory and experience teaching design impacts in software development
