Principal Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on technical leader, the full-time remote Principal Software Development Engineer will improve software delivery processes by designing internal tools, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with engineering teams to implement effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of internal tools and delivery patterns to accelerate software development and deployment
• Develop and enhance custom CI/CD pipelines to automate engineering and operational workflows
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to identify pain points and implement practical improvements

Required qualifications

• Strong experience in software engineering, DevOps, and platform engineering environments
• Proven ability to build or improve CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions or similar tools
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code
• Good working knowledge of AWS and automated cloud environments
• Familiarity with deployment automation tools like Argo CD or Argo Rollouts
