Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff/Principal Software Engineer, People Manager and Technical Leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, conducting regular 1:1s and career development planning
• Lead the architecture and implementation of critical features and systems while remaining hands-on with the tech stack
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product features and influence product strategy

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 3+ years managing a team of engineers
• Experience with domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, or microservices
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, NestJS, and PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures with Kubernetes and Terraform
