Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Plans, leads, and executes efforts to develop, maintain, and verify embedded product software
• Mentors less-experienced software engineers to enhance their development and troubleshooting skills
• Collaborates with other engineering disciplines to ensure project requirements and quality standards are met

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of work experience in software development
• Strong skills in C, C++, Python, and UNIX scripting/BASH
• Experience in real-time embedded software development with Linux and/or VxWorks
• Experience with multithreaded applications and communication protocols
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field
