Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Software Engineer Principal.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzes, designs, modifies, and programs software enhancements and new products
• Writes code, performs testing and debugging, and completes documentation for installation and maintenance
• Interacts with users to define system requirements and implements necessary modifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience, with a preference for 8+ years in software design and development
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, preferably Agile/Lean
• Experience with technologies such as .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and Python frameworks
• 5+ years of experience in banking or financial services, with expertise in modern financial systems preferred
