Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer, Infra.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software and systems engineers to maintain the foundational platform for running infrastructure
• Design and deliver software to enhance the availability, scalability, and efficiency of products
• Automate development processes and mentor backend developers across the organization

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in developing internet-scale software, preferably in infrastructure roles
• 8+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure systems (Kubernetes, AWS / GCE ecosystems)
• Experience influencing technical direction in large organizations (500+ engineers)
• Software development experience in languages such as Python, Go, Rust, Java, or C++
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver user experiences
