Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer II - Search Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features and enhancements for Elasticsearch
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team to improve search capabilities
• Write modern Java code and assist community members with issues and pull requests

Required Qualifications

• Strong skills in core Java and familiarity with data structures and concurrency
• Ability to work autonomously and guide projects from start to finish
• Experience with various data storage technologies like Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL
• Comfortable with collaborative development and providing feedback on code
• Experience with open source projects and different source control workflows is a plus
