Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Principal Software Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for writing production code, guiding architectural decisions, and serving as a CIAM protocol expert while engaging with enterprise customers on complex integration challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Write, review, and own high-quality production code while providing technical leadership for the platform's architectural evolution
• Serve as a go-to expert on CIAM protocols, guiding implementation and answering complex protocol questions from various teams and customers
• Engage directly with enterprise customers to assist in architectural and integration design decisions, translating complex concepts clearly

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
• Production-grade expertise in OAuth 2.x, OIDC, SCIM, and SAML
• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years focused on identity, authentication, or security
• Proven track record of hands-on development alongside architectural responsibilities
• Experience with enterprise-grade distributed systems and designing software for diverse deployment environments
