Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with diverse teams, the full-time remote Principal Software Engineer will build and test front-end and back-end solutions for web applications, focusing on delivering high-quality user experiences while driving technology development aligned with enterprise goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction on technology development related to performance, privacy, security, and user experience
• Collaborate with business partners and developers to define and implement tactical solutions and improve IT service quality
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and QA

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Design, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of directly related experience in software engineering
• Expert knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/ECMAScript
• Strong experience with UI libraries and front-end tools such as jQuery, Bootstrap, and AngularJS
• Proven ability to develop websites for multiple devices and ensure production-quality software delivery
