Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer to work remotely in the US, who will lead the design and development of high-performance Node-based SaaS applications while mentoring a team of engineers and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, robust, and high-performance Node-based applications
• Lead architecture for investment segment components, ensuring software solutions meet performance and reliability requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable backlog items and participate in story grooming exercises

Required qualifications

• 8-10+ years of industry experience in data engineering and product management
• Expertise in Node and Java programming languages
• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a business or technical field
• Experience with databases, particularly Mongo Atlas, and developing/consuming REST APIs
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture
