Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly experienced Principal Software Engineer for a full-time remote position, who will lead enterprise-wide architectural initiatives, define long-term technology strategy, and deliver scalable, resilient distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-level architectural standards and engineering guardrails for multiple business units
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems operating at a global scale
• Mentor senior engineers and guide teams on concurrency, scalability, and optimization strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Ten or more years of professional software engineering experience
• Proven expertise in designing distributed, high-scale systems in production
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Go, C++, or similar backend languages
• Strong expertise in reliability engineering and distributed architectures
