Job Summary

Driving technical direction for critical product areas, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will lead cross-team initiatives, architect complex systems, and build AI-powered experiences in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive technical strategy for major product areas to ensure scalability and reliability
• Lead large initiatives from concept through launch, managing dependencies and stakeholder alignment
• Architect and evolve complex systems, optimizing for customer outcomes and operational excellence

Required qualifications

• Deep experience in shipping and operating production full-stack web applications at scale
• Proven ability to set technical direction and align multiple teams on complex initiatives
• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML techniques in product development
• Strong systems thinking with a cohesive understanding of architecture, performance, and reliability
• Experience with modern web frameworks such as Rails, React, Postgres, or AWS
