Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support USCC, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will design and maintain data pipeline components, contribute to SDK development across multiple programming languages, and troubleshoot integration issues while working remotely, preferably within the Eastern Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipeline components for structured data processing
• Contribute to SDK development to facilitate data emission and consumption by downstream tools
• Troubleshoot integration issues across distributed systems, ensuring compliance with enterprise and security standards

Required Qualifications

• Active SECRET security clearance required prior to start
• Proficiency in two or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or C
• Experience designing and implementing data pipelines, including transformation and validation stages
• Familiarity with data serialization formats like Avro, Protobuf, JSON, or XML
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in DoD or classified environments
