Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Principal Software Engineer to take technical ownership of a high-revenue web platform and mobile app, focusing on architecture design, server-side rendering, and performance optimization in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end development and architecture decisions for web and mobile applications
• Design and implement server-side rendering pipelines and manage data layers across MySQL and BigQuery
• Optimize performance at scale and maintain machine learning pipelines for ad-tech systems

Required qualifications

• Proven experience with Node.js and TypeScript in production environments
• Strong background in React, particularly in server-side rendering contexts
• Expertise in MySQL, including database design and query optimization
• Experience with BigQuery for managing large-scale datasets
• Hands-on knowledge of GCP services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Build, and Load Balancing
