Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
To drive innovation and technology solutions, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement applications while serving as a peer leader in an Agile environment, with opportunities for remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Designs and develops technology solutions to meet strategic business goals
- Serves as a subject matter expert for Calypso integration with financial market utilities
- Participates in code and design reviews to ensure adherence to enterprise standards and best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Eight years of progressive experience in software engineering or related roles
- Experience with Calypso platforms and OTC derivatives products
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL, along with UNIX and Linux environments
- Familiarity with financial market utilities such as DTCC SDR and Bloomberg
