Job Summary

Defining the technical strategy for frontend development, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will establish standards and best practices while working remotely to enhance Vanta's product engineering teams and drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical strategy for frontend development across the organization
• Establish best practices for data layer architecture, state management, and testing frameworks
• Embed with teams to solve complex technical problems and mentor engineers on frontend skills

Required qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and experience with modern frontend technologies
• Experience with GraphQL and building scalable data architectures for web applications
• Proven track record of driving organization-wide technical initiatives and influencing strategy
• Strong skills in building platforms and tools for developers, focusing on consumable APIs
