Job Summary

Driving the technical strategy for frontend development, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will define best practices, establish standards, and collaborate with teams to enhance product quality while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical strategy for frontend development, establishing scalable patterns and standards
• Establish best practices for data layer architecture, state management, testing frameworks, and design systems across the organization
• Embed with teams to solve complex technical problems hands-on, spending approximately 50% of time writing code

Required qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and deep experience with modern frontend technologies
• Experience with GraphQL and building scalable data architectures for web applications
• Proven track record of driving organization-wide technical initiatives and influencing engineering strategy
• Strong skills in building platforms and tools for developers, focusing on consumable APIs and excellent developer experience
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and identify high-leverage work while balancing hands-on technical work with strategic thinking
