Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer for a full-time remote position focused on collaborating with cross-functional teams to build transformative AI agents for HR and Finance, while implementing tooling strategies and ensuring effective integration within the Workday stack.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to deliver AI-powered agents that enhance HR and Financial workflows
• Participate in a supportive team culture that emphasizes curiosity and strong engineering practices
• Take ownership of multiple functional areas from development to production, ensuring high-impact product delivery

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering
• 7+ years of experience with a web development framework, preferably Python (Flask, Django, or FastAPI)
• 5+ years of experience with React and Typescript for Front End/Full stack development
• 8+ years of experience with a Relational Database, preferably PostgreSQL
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience
