Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and prototyping of generative AI experiences, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will work remotely to enhance the user experience of Hivemind products while collaborating closely with the Office of the CTO and conducting user research.

Key responsibilities

• Design and prototype generative AI experiences to accelerate autonomy development
• Collaborate with technical leads to enhance user experience across Hivemind products
• Conduct user research and analyze competing products to inform engineering and product leadership

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience developing large, production-quality software systems
• 5+ years of experience with React/Node/Typescript/Javascript development
• Strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices and experience with Git
• Deep understanding of full-stack web development and multi-modal input handling
• Experience with Linux, Docker, and major cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS)
