Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security measures for a leading SaaS platform, the full-time Principal Software Engineer, Security will design and implement authorization architectures, oversee project execution across distributed teams, and maintain high security standards while working onsite in San Ramon, California.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement SaaS platform authorization security architectures and manage digital transformation of authentication systems
• Provide technical leadership to distributed teams and oversee data migration to Kubernetes-based systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver scalable and secure software, contributing to product design, implementation, and quality assurance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• 120 months of experience in software engineering or a related position
• Experience with distributed authorization, security tokens, and cloud services such as AWS
• Proven leadership skills in managing software development teams
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test-driven development processes
