Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving technical execution and squad leadership, the full-time remote Principal Software Engineer will design and build full-stack features, develop responsive UIs, and lead rapid experimentation while ensuring alignment with engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features and modern UIs while managing APIs and services on AWS serverless architecture
• Lead a small squad through rapid experimentation, translating business ideas into execution and removing blockers for delivery
• Encourage innovation and fast iteration by leveraging feature flags and managing technical debt proactively

Required qualifications

• 5-7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong skills in TypeScript, Node.js, and frontend technologies
• Experience with AWS serverless architecture
• Proven ability to align business objectives with technical execution
• Demonstrated leadership through execution in a team setting
