Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership in a remote capacity, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will drive architectural excellence, mentor engineers, and influence technical direction while ensuring the scalability and reliability of end-to-end systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and influence the architectural direction of the platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical strategy
• Contribute hands-on to software development across the full technology stack, focusing on performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Lead the investigation and resolution of complex production issues, implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with extensive knowledge in both frontend and backend development
• Proven experience designing and architecting large-scale, distributed, cloud-based systems
• Exceptional debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
• Extensive mentoring and coaching experience, particularly with Senior Engineers and technical leaders
