Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the advancement of next-generation software architecture, the remote Principal Software Engineer will lead AI-native engineering practices, design scalable distributed systems, and establish architectural standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences and operational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the adoption of AI-native engineering practices and design architectures incorporating intelligent agents and automation capabilities
• Architect scalable distributed systems and define architectural standards for reliability, scalability, and operational excellence
• Serve as a trusted advisor on strategic technical initiatives, mentoring engineers and influencing technology direction across multiple organizations

Required qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing intelligent systems or AI-enabled software solutions
• Deep expertise in large-scale distributed applications and cloud-native architectures
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or Go
• Demonstrated success in a senior technical leadership role, such as Principal Engineer or Enterprise Architect
• Strong understanding of information architecture and data management principles
