Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Principal Software Engineer will develop flexible, maintainable solutions, enhance existing systems, and participate in planning and user story analysis as part of a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and maintains software solutions while adhering to guidelines and best practices
• Reviews and enhances existing systems to improve performance and address security vulnerabilities
• Documents software changes and actively participates in software development processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent education and work experience
• 8+ years of experience in a professional technical environment
• 6+ years of professional software design and development experience
• General knowledge of .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and related technologies
• Experience with Agile/Lean or Kanban software development methodologies preferred
