Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the design and development of complex software solutions, the remote Principal Software Engineer will lead and mentor teams while ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and design of scalable software systems, aligning technical roadmaps with business strategies
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features
• Oversee the development of front-end, middleware, and back-end systems while establishing coding standards and best practices

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 7 years of experience in a development role
• Technical certifications from recognized organizations (e.g., Amazon, Google, Microsoft) are a plus
• Ability to effectively present information to top management and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders
• Experience in implementing secure coding practices and evaluating emerging technologies
