Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers in a remote full-time capacity, the Principal Software Engineer will architect, build, and enhance a large consumer-facing healthcare application while mentoring team members and collaborating closely with product owners and designers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the architecture, development, documentation, and testing of a consumer-facing application
• Act as the technical owner and subject matter expert for specific product areas
• Facilitate Agile processes including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 2+ years in a team lead role utilizing Agile practices
• 2+ years of experience developing Cloud Native applications on AWS or with Go/Golang or React + TypeScript
• Proficiency with modern version control systems such as Git
