Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a team in the development of next-generation healthcare software, the full-time remote Principal Software Engineer will architect, build, and document a large consumer-facing application while mentoring team members and collaborating with product managers and designers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in the architecture, development, and testing of a consumer-facing application
• Serve as the technical owner and subject matter expert for specific product areas
• Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate user needs into technical requirements and architecture

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 2+ years in a team lead role utilizing Agile practices
• 2+ years of experience developing Cloud Native applications on AWS or with Go/Golang or React + TypeScript
• Professional experience with modern version control systems such as Git
