Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the technical direction for financial systems and data solutions, the full-time remote Principal Software Development Engineer will design scalable architectures, implement AI-driven capabilities, and guide cloud-native development while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical authority for financial systems and lead architecture reviews across engineering teams
• Design and optimize data ingestion pipelines and high-volume transaction processing systems
• Champion the adoption of AI solutions to enhance operational efficiency and drive modernization initiatives

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with 5+ years in technical leadership roles
• Expert-level experience with Python and C#/.NET Core
• Strong experience in building cloud-native applications on AWS and deep expertise in software architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies, including LLMs and AI-powered enterprise solutions
