Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Principal Software Engineer to join the NGC Cloud Services team, where the successful candidate will drive the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of cloud systems, influencing architecture and technical direction while managing operational excellence in a remote or onsite capacity.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect and build scalable and distributed NGC Cloud services
• Lead technical projects and contribute to the platform's overall architecture
• Ensure operational excellence for secure and scalable secrets and artifact management

Required qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in distributed systems design and development
• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• Advanced programming skills in Java, Go, and/or C++ for building scalable backend services
• Strong technical judgment in enterprise-scale secrets and artifact management
• Proven track record of successful technical leadership in large-scale architecture projects
